Whitby — Giclée Art Print
Few places on the English coast have the atmosphere of Whitby. The ruined abbey brooding on the clifftop. The red-roofed fishermen's cottages tumbling down to the harbour. The swing bridge, the winding 199 steps, the smell of the sea and fresh fish and chips on the wind. It is a town that gets under your skin and stays there — and this painting captures exactly why.
Sheila Gill has painted Whitby with the warmth and intimacy of someone who knows it well — the quality of the light, the texture of the stone, the particular character of that harbour at low tide. It's a painting that will immediately resonate with anyone who has ever stood on those clifftops and felt the full force of the North Sea stretching away to the horizon.
Reproduced as a museum-quality Giclée fine art print on luxurious 310 GSM velvet-textured inkjet paper, every detail of the original — the subtle tones of the stonework, the shimmer of the water, the drama of the abbey against the sky — is rendered with exceptional clarity and depth. Printed with archival inks for colour and quality that will last for generations.
Made to order and delivered safely rolled in a crush-proof tube, ready for you to frame and hang.

Lovely print, having bought 3 in a gallery couldn't wait to get this one. We weren't disappointed. It arrived promptly, well packed and came in a mount. It came with 2 complimentary greetings cards which was a very king touch.
Frame size easily found in John Lewis too!
Lovely picture really pleased with it
Very nice print. It is already mounted but needs a frame.
