Returns & Refunds Policy Sheila Gill Publishing
Your Legal Rights Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to a full refund if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Cancellation Rights (Online & Distance Sales) If you purchased online or by telephone, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. You then have a further 14 days to return the item. To exercise this right, please notify us before the cancellation period expires.
Please note: Digital downloads that have been accessed or downloaded may not be eligible for return under these rights, provided you gave prior consent and acknowledged this at the point of purchase.
How to Return an Item To initiate a return or cancellation, please contact us at hello@sheilagill.co.uk. Our team will guide you through the process. You do not need to provide a receipt to exercise your legal rights, though proof of purchase may help us process your return more quickly.
Return Shipping Where you are returning an item under your 14-day cancellation right (and the goods are not faulty), you will be responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
Where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, we will meet the cost of return postage.
Refunds Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you by email of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the goods (or within 14 days of you providing evidence of return, whichever is sooner). Refunds will be made to your original payment method.
We may make a deduction from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of unnecessary handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Faulty or Damaged Goods If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. After 30 days and within six months, we will offer a repair or replacement in the first instance. Please contact us at hello@sheilagill.co.uk as soon as possible.
